Tunie's History

Tunies was founded in 1993 with the goal of creating a natural grocery, vitamin and nutrition store that made healthy living an affordable and accessible option for everyone. Over the past 18 years Tunies has grown into Florida’s largest natural grocery, vitamin and nutrition store, a resource of over 28,000 products that fit the diverse health needs of our customers. In 2005, Tunies moved to its current location in Broward County, and soon added fresh produce and wine to our long list of products, most of which are available online.

Tunies employs over 40 staff members, each trained to help our customers select foods, vitamins and supplements that they need. The Tunies’ Team is committed to offering the highest standard of customer service and will even walk around the entire store helping to meet customers’ specific requests. Tunie's Nutritionists

Well how do I know what vitamins I should take? To answer just this, Tunies employs two licensed nutritionists who provide nutritional counseling from a private office in our store. Our licensed nutritionists can help our customers customize their daily regiments to their individual health needs. Providing a healthy lifestyle to our customers means creating a regiment between both vitamins and groceries. Through our nutritionists we hope to counsel and educate our customers in making the right decisions in their purchases. This in itself is worth a trip to Tunies!

Tunie's Health Education

In addition to receiving individualized counseling, Tunies hosts free health lectures twice a week on a variety of topics. Our lectures are given by local healthcare professionals in our 120 seat in-store conference room. A healthy lifestyle begins with education. With the thousands of options available to our customers, we know that it is sometimes difficult to know where to begin. Our lectures are designed to educate and help our customers with their everyday choices. Tunies works hard to create these events that help our customers feel more informed when choosing what to put in their bodies.
